Heather Hanson joined the Advancement Data Insights Team in January 2023 as Senior Director of Data Insights. In this role, she provides strategic leadership around assessing and leveraging data findings and turns them into actionable insights to inform engagement and fundraising strategies and optimize performance and outcomes. Previously, she was the Senior Director of Advancement for the Leeds School of Business for 7 years, providing strategic leadership for Leeds alumni engagement and annual giving efforts and engaged alumni through events and various communication channels, working to promote pride and celebrate the alumni community.
Prior to joining the Leeds School of Business, Heather worked at Northwestern overseeing the student and young alumni giving efforts and team. She also worked in alumni relations with the Northwestern Alumni Association. 聽Before Northwestern, Heather worked in marketing and brand development roles in Arizona and California.
Originally from Arizona, Heather has her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Arizona and her Master of Education in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Arizona State University. In her free time, Heather loves to spend time with her family, hike, run, practice yoga, and travel.
