While teaching at the Denver SchoolÌýof Science and Technology, Cody Candler noticedÌýthat the students who were struggling were often as intelligent as their peers, but lackedÌýconfidence. With that in mind, he started EdBoard Technologies to help students as young as 6 learnÌýabout electricity and electrical circuits. Unlike traditional breadboards, devices widely used in electronics for teaching, experimenting and testing circuit design that require fine motor skills and background knowledge of the embedded wiring to use them, EdBoards are simpler to use and understand. Made fromÌýtransparent acrylic with clearly visible iron rods running the length and width of the board,ÌýEdBoard's colorful components areÌýequipped with magnetic posts and illustrated circuit diagrams that slide under boards, mapping out circuits.
