Klara graduated from Emory University with a BA in the fields of Sociology and Integrated Visual Art, focusing her thesis research on material culture studies within cultural 'scenes.' Her background as an artist and social researcher arm Klara with unique perspectives on how people approach materials and the ways in which objects may alter social relationships. Through the ATLAS program, Klara plans to expand her understanding of materials past just physical matter and incorporate digital assets as a degree of material culture study. By examining the technological makeup of virtual communities and their physical, digital, and social relations, Klara's new leg of research will place emphasis on how we navigate an increasingly digital hybrid world with the same old materials.آ
