The Center for Asian Studies has funding available for CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ faculty who would like to develop curricula for new or revised courses about Southeast Asia!

CAS will offer two faculty awards for the creation or significant revision of an undergraduate course on Southeast Asia in any discipline. This opportunity is offered as part of a larger two-year initiative funded by a US Department of Education UISFL grant. Funding will be provided to faculty to develop new courses with Southeast Asia content or revise existing courses to add Southeast Asia content, in order to enhance the area studies curriculum, enhance teaching about Southeast Asia in a variety of departments and programs, and build toward the Southeast Asia track in the Asian Studies major. Two $1500 stipends will be awarded for a total of $3000 per year. Proposals for new Global Seminars in Southeast Asia are also welcome.
