The Center for Asian Studies and Program for Teaching East Asia want to recognize Joanne Sakaguchi, Assistant for Grant Administration, for her many contributions over the past ten years. Joanne will retire from the University at the end of this week.
Joanne was instrumental in supporting CAS and TEA grants over the past decade, including coordinating the Foreign Language and Area Studies and other graduate fellowship competitions, supporting visiting scholars, handling HR and accounting tasks, and helping with CAS events past and present such as Asia Day and our annual receptions.
