Rachel is a Global Civil Engineering Professional Master's student at the ذكذكتسئµ. She earned a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil Specialty) with a minor in Public Affairs through the McBride Honors Program from the Colorado School of Mines in 2008. Rachel has participated in technical projects in six countries and most recently spent five years living and working in Northern Uganda. While in Uganda, she spent two years as a Field Engineering Director for a pay-as-you-go solar social enterprise, then she co-founded and was the lead engineer for a water supply services social enterprise. Rachel is interested in the role of social enterprises in achieving effective WASH service delivery and in how to improve the field of global engineering.
