Malinda 'Mally'听Dietrich is a first year doctoral student in the Communication department within the Rhetoric and Culture track. Mally's research interests primarily explore the ways media and technology can be studied through a critical and cultural communicative lense. She is mostly interested in historical trajectories of technologies, as well as questions of phenomenology, and the ways the human body interacts with technologies that also "sense". Mally earned both her MS听and BA听in communication with a focus on media from听North Carolina State University.
