°Õ³ó±ðÌýFirst Annual ComSciCon Rocky Mountain WestÌýWorkshop is happening on CU's campus this Fall.ÌýThis interdisciplinary workshop is designed to help graduate students in the sciences develop their writing and communication skills. There will also be a session on science policy and advocacy!

At thisÌýworkshop, participants will network with and learn from professional science communicators—including but not limited to science journalists, writers, researchers, industry professionals, policy makers—and work closely with these experts on learning how to construe and deliver the perfect elevator pitch, deliver a winningÌýinterview, writeÌýan originalÌýpiece for a popular science outlet and more! This workshopÌýwill also feature a keynote speaker, workshops, and expert panels on the following topics: science writing & multimedia, science communication inÌýindustry, science policy and advocacy settings,Ìýdiversity and inclusion as well as community engagement.ÌýParticipants will walk away with insight on how to utilize communicationÌýskills throughout their careers, regardless of career path.
