Victor Galotti
Ph.D. Candidate

Mr. Victor Galotti is an experienced professional who has led and delivered complex multidisciplinary engineered and constructed projects in new and operating facilities, taking on ever-increasing responsibilities and roles as Program Manager, Project Manager, Engineering and Construction Manager, and Project Controls SME. Mr. Galotti has also been involved with engineering and construction research both through the University of Colorado and the Construction Industry Institute (CII). His master’s graduate research explored and used a novel sociological tool to evaluate success on construction projects and team interactions. The results were published in the ASCE Journal of Construction Engineering and Management in 2008. This article remains among the most cited in this preeminent journal, illustrating the lasting appeal and substantial impact of the study. His graduate dissertation itself has been one of the 25 most-accessed theses among 1.7 million full-text graduate works across all subject areas via the largest existing theses database. Most recently, Mr. Galotti also actively engaged in extracurricular research and leadership opportunities as he fulfilled his responsibilities as owner Program Manager. He has presented at the CII Annual Conference in 2017 and 2015 on academic research that identified and ranked essential practices to deliver successful “Flash Track” projects—a term adopted to define projects necessitating a much greater degree of integration and concurrency between engineering, procurement, and construction. These research opportunities have resulted in years of active collaboration as a research team member with many university professors and industry leaders who represent diverse sectors and markets. His demonstrated leadership has delivered each of his managed projects on time, on budget, and with Zero EH&S recordable incidents. Mr. Galotti will bring this acquired knowledge to this research study.
