CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ faculty and staff are invited to joinÌýHuman Resources for a new series focused on actionable strategiesÌýfor inclusive leadership.ÌýThe purpose of Becoming an Inclusive LeaderÌýseries is to provide supervisors, managers, and leaders at CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ with the knowledge and skills to lead their teamsÌýto be more inclusiveÌýandÌýequitable,Ìýas well as the ability toÌýcreate a sense of belongingÌýamong team members.ÌýCU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ is committed to advancing the IDEA Plan and building an inclusive culture onÌýcampus.Ìý

Learning Objectives

After completing the series, CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ leaders will be able to:Ìý

  • Understand how their lived experiences, identities, biases, and leadership style influence their role as a supervisor/manager in creating an inclusiveÌýenvironment.ÌýÌý
  • Select inclusive strategies to support a sense of belonging for their teams.Ìý
  • Apply inclusive practices to retain and engage direct reports.Ìý
  • Examine ways to increase their intercultural competence.Ìý
  • Develop inclusive habits for managing performance.Ìý
  • Design a making excellence inclusive plan to operationalize the IDEA Plan.Ìý

Who Should Attend

This event is intended for any CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ supervisor who wants to learn more about leading teamsÌýfor inclusion.

Commitment

Becoming an Inclusive LeadersÌýis aÌýsix-week series. Leaders will meet for six consecutive weeks for one hour from 1-2pm. The dates of the series:ÌýÌý
