Students in F-1 and J-1 status are required to maintain full-time enrollment each fall and spring semester to maintain nonimmigrant visa status.

Classes begin on Monday, August 26, and students should be enrolled full-time by that date.آ

ISSS will be required to terminate your F-1 SEVIS record on September 25, 2024, if you are not fully enrolled by that date, unless you have been approved by ISSS for a reduced course load, if applicable.آ آ

If you are a continuing undergraduate student and not yet enrolled full-time, be prepared to add confirmed classes as soon as registration reopens on August 19. Graduate students, law students, incoming fall 2024 undergraduate transfer students, and students who started at CU ذكذكتسئµ in summer 2024 can register now. Registering as soon as possible will give you the best opportunity to get the classes and schedule you want.

Remember that waitlisted classes do not count toward full-time enrollment for immigration purposes. Since there is no guarantee that you will get into a waitlisted class, ISSS recommends adding enough confirmed classes so that you can maintain your immigration status.آ  Make sure you are aware of آ drop deadlines and waitlist deadlines.

Consult ISSSآ if you have questions regarding eligibility requirements and do not drop courses without ISSS authorization.

If you do not intend to enroll this semester, contact ISSS as soon as possible to confirm your academic plans for the fall 2024 semester, to discuss your options, and so that ISSS can properly take care of your SEVIS record.
