Mayara Bryant graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the Ƶ in May 2024. Her thesis was titled “Exacerbation and Recovery of Hearing Loss Following a Deep Vein Thrombosis: A Case Study.”She is currently working as a research assistant on our NIH-funded study of hypertension and auditory function. Her primary interest lies in the relationship between the circulatory system and hearing loss, and public health.
