David is currently pursuing his PhD as a part of the Schwartz and Kaar labs. He is interested in how different materials can stabilize enzymes, and how protein stabilization can allow for enhanced catalytic activity.

Outside of the lab, David enjoys playing guitar, hiking, and gardening.
