Buffalo Summer Experience - Family Journey

Welcome to the Buff Family! We invite you and your student to participate in the . These programs are a great way for you and your student to get to know more about life at CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ and start to build community with other incoming students and families. There are a variety of ways for you to get connected through summer experiences, including in-person and virtual options.ÌýÌý

Families can participate in College Connection (in-person), Buff Family Webinars (virtual) or Buff Family Coffee Hours (virtual) over the summer.Ìý

College Connection

This one-day, in-person summer experience is a great way for your student to learn more about life as a Buff, meet fellow new students and learn more about academic opportunities. Families are also invited to attend! There will be sessions specifically for families where you will learn more about how to support your student through their CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ journey and will give you the chance to start building your own Buff Family community.ÌýÌý

  • June 12, June 20, July 1, July 10, July 12ÌýÌý
  • Sessions will run from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4:40 p.m.
  • Between sessions, families are encouraged to explore ÐßÐßÊÓƵ for lunch and other fun activities. Ìý

Be sure to select the same date that your student is participating in. Please note, there is a $30 fee per guestÌýto participate, which will go towards materials, parking and fun swag.Ìý

Note: Please submit your cancellation by 1 week prior to the event. Cancellations submitted by the deadline will be eligible for a full refund, minus a 5% cancellation fee. We will not be able to issue any refunds past the deadline.

Buff Family WebinarsÌý

Buff Family Webinars are a way for families to learn more about specific topics related to their students CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Journey. Webinars are held virtually through Zoom.ÌýÌý

Buff Family Coffee HoursÌý

Buff Family Coffee Hours are an informal way to virtually connect and ask questions about life at CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ. These Coffee Hours are hosted by New Student & Family Programs, and families will be able to participate in small group breakout rooms to meet other new Buff Families and get questions answered.Ìý
