The position of Alumni Communications Coordinator is to connect and reconnect with PLC alumni of all different fields, cohorts, and locations around the world. This person will conduct extensive and persistent outreach to the alumni network to improve the continuity of information and lines of communication between current students and alumni. From interviews, questionnaires, and surveys, the coordinator will highlight the alumni on the PLC alumni Instagram, the Alumni Newsletter, and the alumni page on the PLC website. This position is also responsible for maintaining and updating the Master Alumni Spreadsheet which includes the most recent data amassed from alumni.Ìý This person will need to be trained on the backend of the PLC website and be willing to consistently update the alumni page with current stories and events, as well as author the alumni newsletter quarterly. The skills of attention to detail, elevated writing and editing are critical. The Alumni Communications Coordinator also connects students to alumni throughout the academic year. This person mines the PLC alumni database to find requested and relevant contact information and then provides an email introduction between the current student and alumni. This position also supports many other teams on student staff such as AMP Coordinators, Professional Excellence, CORPS, Class Coordinators, Service Coordinators, CA's for all courses, etc. Pay rate = $2500/academic year
