Recent CU Psychology and Neuroscience PhD student Arielle Silverman (Social, mentored by Leaf Van Boven), now a postdoc at the University of Washington in Seattle, was in the news for a research article demonstrating that having people simulate being disabled can reduce their judged capabilities of disabled persons. The research was done as part of the first author's dissertation at CU-ذكذكتسئµ.
