We recently learned of a system issue affecting a small number of students'听pass/fail selections. To help address this issue, for Spring 2020 classes only, the pass/fail grading option deadline has been extended to the last day to drop a class deadline:听Friday, March 20 for full semester classes. (Prorated for听special sessions.)
If you attempted to register for a Spring 2020 class as pass/fail, you should听review and edit your grade mode using the through Buff Portal. If a class that you had attempted to register for as pass/fail shows as a letter grade, you may edit the grade mode back to pass/fail by the deadline.
This option is only available for classes that allow you to choose between earning a letter grade and pass/fail. In addition, programs may restrict the number of pass/fail graded courses that can be applied toward degree requirements. Check with your advisor if you have questions on degree applicability.
This error has been fixed and we apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. This will not impact pass/fail selections for future semester enrollments.
