The Center for Inclusion and Social Change (CISC) is excited to announce four UndocuAlly training sessions in the semester, available to any interested staff and faculty. Students with an administrative/professional/teaching role are also welcome to attend.

This is a two-hour training—co-presented by the CISC and faculty allies—intended to help campus better support undocumented students and create a more welcoming campus environment through:

Understanding terminology and the make-up of our undocumented community
Understanding the history of U.S. immigration and how it has led to the current situation
Understanding DACA and ASSET and how they may impact CU ��Ƶ students
Understanding challenges, opportunities, and resources for undocumented students on campus

While we normally schedule office-specific training times, we have made these general times available for faculty and staff for whom this might work better.

The dates are as follows:

Monday, January 24, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., RSVP page
Wednesday, February 23, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., RSVP page
Tuesday, March 29, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., RSVP page
Thursday, April 21, Noon - 2:00 p.m., RSVP page

A few notes regarding the trainings:

This is a two-hour commitment. Registrants must attend the full session.
Registration will close at noon the day before the training.
A minimum of 15 people is required to offer the training.
Registrants will receive an email the day before the training confirming whether the training will run and whether it will be in person or zoom.

If your department or unit would like to schedule a separate UndocuAlly session, or if the times above don’t work for your schedule, please submit a request on the ODECE website.
