Unwind and have fun at The Connection this semester. Located in the UMC, The Connection offers a range of activities for students to enjoy. Here are helpful things to keep in mind when planning your next visit.
Bowling
Visit ÐßÐßÊÓƵ’s only bowling center and bowl at student rates. Check out The Connection events’ schedule to join in the fun of Extreme Bowling with black lights, colored lane lights and color pins.

Billiards
Play pool at one of the black and gold billiards tables, the only official 9-foot tournament-sized tables in ÐßÐßÊÓƵ. Show off your skills at an 8-ball or 9-ball billiards tournament at The Connection.

Ping pong
Take a break with a round of ping pong featuring professional KillerSpin MYT7 Ping Pong Tables. You can also test your luck at one of the ping pong tournaments held throughout the semester.

Video game bunker
Enjoy four large screens and choose from hundreds of games in the video game bunker. The console options include two Xbox series X consoles, two Nintendo Switch consoles and two PlayStation 4 consoles.
The bunker has comfortable seating in a distraction-reduced area of The Connection.Ìý
Board game checkout
Check out board games for free. From classic Hasbro games to new releases, choose from a broad selection of games to play with friends at The Connection.Ìý

Weekly events
The Connection hosts events weekly. The events are free to attend unless otherwise noted. Extreme Bowling is offered at regular bowling rates.
Other regular events include trivia, karaoke and poker. The Connection also holds ping pong, billiards and video game tournaments throughout the semester.
Club 156
Considered the UMC’s hidden gem, Club 156 is The Connection and Program Council’s intimate program, event and concert venue. Watch The Connection’s website for free shows, programs and tournaments.
Food and beverages
The Connection offers a wide selection of soda, beer, wine and hard cider featuring Colorado’s finest local breweries and a selection of prepackaged snacks and concession food items.
On-campus jobs
Work at The Connection for a front-row seat to fun! Roles range from cashier to mechanic, giving students a variety of opportunities to earn money and gain experience.Ìý
