Manager meets with employee one-on-one

The CU Grow: Management & Leadership Development Series is a campus program that brings supervisors, managers and leaders together with subject matter experts to explore timely, relevant and influential topics.

This annual series in current management issues enhances participants'Ìýknowledge of the competencies and concepts utilized by successful managers and leaders. Current and aspiring managers and leaders from across campus are invited to attend the latest session in the series: One-to-One Coaching.

As managers at CU, we are asked to supervise others. With supervision usually comes the expectation of holding one-to-one meetings (1:1s) with employees, but we are not taught the best ways to hold or handle them and often learn from the 1:1s we have with our own supervisors.
