It’s finally getting warm outside- take advantage of the great weather and get some good exercise by playing an outdoor intramural sport or going on an outdoor program trip.

Spring will be here soon, and the weather is already warming up. If you’re ready to soak up some sun after being cooped up all winter, playing an outdoor intramural sport or going on an outdoor program trip are great ways to start.

Intramurals

In the upcoming session of intramurals, many of the sports are played outdoors- including soccer, flag football, and ultimate Frisbee. In addition to the great health benefits of exercise and sunlight, intramurals can be a great way to de-stress from the pressures of midterms, homework, and jobs. “I play outdoor flag football every spring with my friends. It’s a lot of fun and it’s a great way for me to blow off some steam after class”, says senior Andrew Dorsey. “We’ve never won the championship T-shirts but we’re hoping to win this year”.
