For a number of years, CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ’s spring break dates have matched with the ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Valley School District’s spring break dates and often those ofÌýthe St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD). This is helpful to many CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ employees and CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ parents and families who have students enrolled in one of the two nearby K-12 school districts.Ìý
BVSD and CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ identified a discrepancy for the 2022–23 academic year.Ìý
Following the BVSD Board of Education’s unanimous vote on June 7, BVSD moved spring break to March 27–31, 2023, which matches CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ’s break.
SVVSD has currently not made any changes to its planned March 20–24, 2023, spring break.Ìý
CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ reached out to both school districts to set the stage for future cooperation on calendar setting that benefits all three institutions going forward.
