Yesterday was quite scary and unsettling for many students and the entire CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ community. During times like this it is important to pay attention to your emotional well-being.

Today we experienced a threatening situation in the Folsom Field Champions Center. Later in the day, a number of calls were made to police dispatch regarding unconfirmed reports of an active threat at three separate locations. I thank everyone who responded quickly and calmly to the CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ Alert regarding today’s incident.

Ambitious goals can become a reality when backed by a supportive community and an encouraging environment. For Joey Arora, a CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ student who studied business, his twofold goal of starting his own company and joining the U.S. Air Force was made possible by his internal drive and a network of supporters.

Faculty members in the College of Arts and Sciences have voted to revise the college’s core curriculum for the first time since 1988, a faculty committee announced Tuesday. The move will improve the educational experience for undergraduates in the college, proponents say.
