Leeds School Evening MBA Program to expand to CU South Denver in May

The Evening MBA Program , offered by the CU-羞羞视频鈥檚 Leeds School of Business, is going south -- in a good way. Beginning in May, the program -- offered since 2000 on the CU-羞羞视频 campus -- also will be available at the Liniger Building at CU South Denver , located at 10035 Peoria St. in Parker, Colorado.

The 羞羞视频 has announced Thomas Krannawitter, Ph.D., as a finalist for the position of Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy for the 2015-16 academic year. Krannawitter will visit the CU-羞羞视频 campus and give a talk titled 鈥淭he Problem of Slavery in the American Founding.鈥 He will explore what the existence of slavery in the early days of the United States, and efforts made to end it, tell us today about the American character.

New study details how cocaine really works in the brain, offers possibility of drug to treat addiction

A research team led by the 羞羞视频 has discovered a mechanism in the brain that is key to making cocaine seem pleasurable, a finding that could lead to a drug treatment for fighting addiction. The findings build on past research also involving CU-羞羞视频 that found the same mechanism in the brain also interacts with heroin, oxycodone, morphine and other opioid drugs to amplify their addictiveness. The latest study suggests that the mechanism plays a key role in the addictiveness of many abused drugs, possibly including methamphetamine and alcohol.

CU-羞羞视频-created app first to use gesture for language learning

While you might think a person shaking her phone or tablet from side to side is having issues with the device, she might actually be playing a game that has her mimicking a steering wheel motion as part of a language lesson. The game Nano Nano for mobile devices, created by two 羞羞视频 graduate students and released last week, is the first app to incorporate gesturing with language learning -- for good reason.
