Tonight and tomorrow: Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema

ATLAS Center for Media, Art and Performance presents the 13th annual premiere of the Sans Souci Festival of Dance Cinema, dedicated to works that merge the beauty of dance with the innovations of cinematic art. Comprising 19 short films by local, regional and international artists, screenings on Friday and Saturday feature different programs. Looping video installations open at 7 p.m.

CU Theatre & Dance stages 鈥44 Plays for 44 Presidents鈥

Just in time for the United States presidential election, CU 羞羞视频's Department of Theatre & Dance gears up for a production of "44 Plays for 44 Presidents," a funny and poignant whirlwind trip through American history. The production, presented in collaboration with 羞羞视频鈥檚 own square product theatre, runs Sept. 23 through Oct. 2 in the University Theatre.

Join us for the opening of "Here Comes Ralphie!" from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27 at the Heritage Center. This special exhibit focuses on the early history of CU mascots and everything you want to know about Ralphie! Ralphie will be outside Old Main from noon to 1 p.m. and Chip will be at the Heritage Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The exhibit is open to the public and admission to the Heritage Center is always free.

Should God Repent?鈥 at Aspen Jewish Congregation on Friday, Aug. 26, during Shabbat services at 6 p.m. This talk is the inaugural event of the CU 羞羞视频 Peak to Peak Lecture Series and is free and open to the public.

First Folio, the original compilation of Shakespeare鈥檚 36 plays, is on display at the 羞羞视频鈥檚 First Folio! The Book that Gave Us Shakespeare exhibition from Aug. 9-31. This unique viewing opportunity commemorates this year鈥檚 400th anniversary of Shakespeare鈥檚 death. The First Folio! exhibition at the CU Art Museum is open to the public and free of charge, yet reservations are strongly encouraged and can be scheduled through Brown Paper Tickets.
