To friends and supporters of Venture Partners,
2019 comes to a close with commercialization the strongest it has ever been at CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ. The university’s researchers continue to power the commercialization engine with industry-transforming discoveries and innovation. In each of the last three years, the university has enjoyed all-time record highs in key commercialization metrics like new inventions and licenses, while the portfolio of startup companies contains more and higher quality companies than ever. Some recent highlights:
- Venture Partners hosted 20+ entrepreneurship training sessions last year, attended by over 600 campus researchers. These programs are supporting a pipeline of 25 new startup companies.
- CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ startups have raised $600M over the past three years.
- This fall, we launched the Licensing with EASE® program, the only investor-endorsed express license. Licensing with EASE® positions CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ startups for success with favorable terms and fast turnaround.
- A 2019 study conducted by the Leeds School of Business found a $1.2B economic impact from CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ’s commercialization activities.
Thank you again for your support and helping us make 2019 a record year. Have a great holiday season.
