Via the Lab Venture Challenge (LVC), Venture Partners at CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ and the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (through the Advanced Industry Program) fund the university's top innovations that address a commercial need, have a clear path to a compelling market and strong scientific support. The program culminates in a Final Showcase, to take place Nov. 3 & 4.
By participating in LVC, you have the opportunity to receive:
- Up to $125,000 in funding to advance your technology
- Pitch coaching and practice
- Mentorship from industry leaders and experts
- Networking connections within CU ÐßÐßÊÓƵ and the local innovation ecosystem
Former LVC funding recipients have used the program to prepare for other innovative campus programs like Destination Startup® and New Venture Challenge, springboard into leading accelerator programs such as Techstars and Innosphere, develop ideas through NSF I-Corps and Catalyze CU and raise investment rounds.
Before applying for LVC, your invention must have been disclosed to the Venture Partners team by Monday, Aug. 9.
New for 2021: Past LVC winners may be eligible for additional funding. Learn about LVC Phase II Awards here.
