Bryan C. Taylor (PhD, University of Utah) is a professor of communication. His teaching and research interests are interdisciplinary, spanning the areas of security, media, organizational communication, and qualitative research methods.
He is currently studying the communicative dimensions of nuclear weapons policy, and the role of mimesis in post-9/11 media and security.
He has published widely in humanistic and social science journals, ranging from theQuarterly Journal of Speech, American Literary Historyج²¹²ش»هجCritical Studies in Media Communicationج³ظ´اجCommunication Theory, Journal of Contemporary Ethnographyجand theجJournal of Organizational Change Management.
He is co-editor of the volumeجNuclear Legacies: Communication, Controversy, and the U.S. Nuclear Weapons Complexج(³¢±ً³و¾±²ش²µ³ظ´ا²ش), The Handbook of Communication and Securityج(Routledge), and co-author ofجQualitative Communication Research Methods(³§²¹²µ±ً).ج
His research has received awards from three divisions of the National Communication Association, and he is a recipient of CU-ذكذكتسئµâ€™s Outstanding Graduate Advising Faculty Award.
