This spring鈥檚 test will also be the first small-scale test of the campus鈥� new Alertus desktop notification tool. Annual testing of emergency notification systems is required by the Clery Act, a federal law.

The chancellors and provosts of the University of Colorado invite faculty and staff to submit proposals for the development of a new, fully online undergraduate degree program to launch in fall 2018. Proposals will be accepted from now through July 15. The grant program provides funds to plan and develop a comprehensive, intercampus, online undergraduate degree that improves student access to the University of Colorado鈥檚 educational opportunities.

Two School of Education faculty members鈥擝en Kirshner, director of CU Engage , and Kevin Welner, director of the National Education Policy Center 鈥攁re headed to Washington D.C., to participate in a national education conference at the White House on March 17. The conference is part of First Lady Michelle Obama's initiative, Reach Higher .
