Planning ahead for Move-In 2016

Last fall, CU-羞羞视频 implemented a new move-in process to reduce traffic and impact on the community while ensuring the first experience incoming families and students have at the university is a positive one. The new plan succeeded in its goals, but changed 鈥渂usiness as usual鈥 on campus. CU-羞羞视频 Today talked with the teams who are planning Fall 2016 Move-In to get an update on this year鈥檚 event, scheduled to begin the evening of Aug. 16 and continue through Aug. 17 and 18.

Payne named CU Women's Basketball coach

JR Payne, who led Santa Clara University to its first winning record since 2008, has been named the eighth head women鈥檚 basketball coach in University of Colorado history, athletic director Rick George announced Monday.ned a five-year contract and the hire will become official pending approval of CU鈥檚 Board of Regents, as is the case with all high-profile campus positions.

Spring CU-羞羞视频 Alerts test set for March 30

The 羞羞视频 will test the CU-羞羞视频 Alerts system at noon on Wednesday, March 30. The test will include text messages, emails, social media and website announcements. This spring鈥檚 test will also be the first small-scale test of the campus鈥 new Alertus desktop notification tool. Annual testing of emergency notification systems is required by the Clery Act, a federal law.

Proposals sought for fully online degree program

The chancellors and provosts of the University of Colorado invite faculty and staff to submit proposals for the development of a new, fully online undergraduate degree program to launch in fall 2018. Proposals will be accepted from now through July 15. The grant program provides funds to plan and develop a comprehensive, intercampus, online undergraduate degree that improves student access to the University of Colorado鈥檚 educational opportunities.

The conference is part of First Lady Michelle Obama's initiative, Reach Higher .
