From the Police Chief: Why we are removing the campus 鈥榖lue light鈥 phones

In the coming weeks, the campus will be removing the remaining emergency 鈥渂lue light鈥 phones. Over the past year, they have been systematically removed and the final phase is under way. We have not received a legitimate emergency call from these phones in several years.

Earlier this morning, a CU undergraduate student was arrested as a suspect in the stabbing death of a fellow student following an earlier altercation off campus. 羞羞视频 Police are investigating the crime and I urge anyone with any information to assist them. On behalf of the entire CU-羞羞视频 community, I want to express my condolences to the family and friends of the victim of this senseless act of violence. I also call on our entire campus community to reject violence 鈥 unilaterally 鈥 as a way of resolving disputes.
